Since then, Derek had made a few big strides, particularly a recent milestone in which one of his tracks was released on a well known Progressive House Label (Baroque Records), called Clear Night Chrome (http://www.beatport.com/track/clear-night-chrome-original-mix/5052913).

A few other songs have also been picked up by labels.

Now, he's involved himself in another 'competition' of sorts.

A sort of biggish name in the scene (Matt Lange) has a track release out and made the pieces available for a remix contest. Teig has entered and his version is available to be voted on here (https://wavo.me/pulses/10188110146610000).

To vote, you'll be logged into your Facebook account, promoted to allow them to post to your Facebook (you can click 'no') and then prompted to 'Like' Matt Lange, Ajunabeats, and a third one. I think you have to like those to get your vote counted. But you can just unlike them at the end of April, if you remember.

This would be another big step for Derek and I appreciate everyone giving his version of the song a listen. The original can be found here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y19KavBM9k0), btw.

He's at the #20 spot, currently. That's the lowest spot that still gets considered by the A&R reps and the Artist of the original track at Ajunadeep.
