Title: Description Replacement Script Bug
Post by: OneRedneckArmy on March 30, 2014, 03:44:35 PM
Simple enough, I was trying to edit my description with "/c desc - rep young lady had yet reached eighteen summers WITH woman was quite young"

What happens every time I try the replace command is the 'removal' script doesn't work, but the edit script does.. So what I wind up with now is "young lady had yet reached eighteen summerswoman was quite young." Tried it again and now I have: "young lady had yet reached eighteen summerswoman was quite youngwoman was quite young"

Honestly I can't get this to work and it occurs every time.

You want to use the following if you want to write a totally new description.

/c desc set

It's also a good idea to write out your description in a text editor then paste it into the chat bar. This not only allows you to spell check, but you can exceed the maximum character length in the chatbar as well.

There is an escape character for new lines, I think it's \n, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

It's #NL# It's a very long description and I'd prefer not to have to put it back together again to replace one line.
