Its been discussed a couple times but- The Wayfinders are really hard to recognize. Their "colors", brown and grey- also happen to be the colors of default adventurers and everyone else on the server. They also often don't wear the actual wayfinder uniform, as several wayfinders have noted its too heavy.
I'd very much like the ability to recognize the wayfinders on sight, and I'm sure the wayfinders would appreciate being able to wear their uniforms, so I suggest a uniform change, to a lighter cloth and distinctive (if still stealthy and darker) color, and a helm, possibly the same as the old seekers.
It'd add a little flavor to the Wayfinders as they're now a DM faction and would make recognizing them far, far easier. Which is a major part of any faction, and makes them more visible to the general populous of sanctuary. Right now, the only way to tell someone is a wayfinder is knowing their name.
I like feathers, perhaps, or some sort of cape they would wear to distinguish themselves, rather than a full suit, seems more in tune to scouts, map makers and other low keep organisations of spys, or people that blend into their surroundings.
I think hot pink and violet green would be appropriate, yes.
I like to think that the Wayfinder's cloak is probably the biggest sign as to who they are - each person who has sworn the oath recognizes that it's probably the most important thing they receive besides the badge. Being a wayfinder myself, I didn't really know it was hard to spot us from the outside until today!
While the armor given is pretty neat, most people don't use it because they either have loot that's a bit better or it's too heavy (chain). It might be nice to have a lighter version generated for certain classes like Ranger or Rogue while the chain is given to everyone else. As for the colors, the grey/brown scheme was selected ICly to better blend in with the surroundings, and while it does make it hard to stand out in a crowd I wouldn't want to see it changed personally.
Using the Seeker's old style is something we've tried to avoid as well - we don't really want that organizations.. interesting reputation conflicting with what we're trying to become as Wayfinders. Even if their armor looked pretty rad :)
Why not have the Unseliee paint every adventurer pink and green to make the Wayfinder Brown stand out?
They are an association, not a DM faction.
Deep blue and safety orange would make them stick out too, as a viable second alternative.
I don't mind the current colours myself, they should be muted and a form of camouflage to match the Wayfinder' job. Lighter armour options would be very much appreciated, though.
EFU has never had an orange colored faction. Please... please... orange. Bright, glowing safety orange.
Give them a dark green fungus coloured cloak.
Puke green, with safety cloaks, by Directorate mandate. See it done.
In all seriousness I think their clothes not sticking out is kind of by design. It's distinctive enough, really.
I'd say a medium green

This have my support

I'm sure Gwyneth would be resting in peace after this.
...
Give them a dash of muted yellow or gold to represent their "Seeker" influences.
I encourage my fellows to contribute their ideas on a more productive, empirical level (http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91639).
Together, our voice can shake the heavens.
Together, we shall show them indeed how gloriously we wish our stealthy cave rangers to dress.
Together, we shall demand clownish elegance of our Directorate.
Together, we shall be HEARD.
Well, this one got a little out of control, didn't it.
I happen to have in my character vault an original uniform from Old Sanctuary that is both distinctive and made from lighter leather material than a chain shirt. I would be happy to email the .bif file to the DMs, because I think we all want the Wayfinders to be immediately recognizable on sight.

Faaabuloouuuus!
omg, I'm at the library and this made me laugh out loud...just recieved many weird glances :D
Seriously though, I would think a cool cloak would be better then a suit...even though those bright colors would be rad...
