Title: PC Respawn Failure

My PC, Kepli Underbough, completed the loner prelude and ended up in Mycopolis. He accidentally called forth some abomination and he went through a narrow tunnel to get to the other side, only to emerge on the shore of the dark canal. However, he immediately died to ooze poison afterwards. And he cannot respawn in the fugue. He is very close to level 3 when he died.

I am aware of the fact that the deaths in the hardcore prologue do not allow respawn. However, this one is not a prologue death.

I only manually respawned him.

PCs who take the hardcore/nature-themed prelude not being able to respawn if they're level 4 or below is still a problem once they're out of the prelude.

Reaching Level 4 then dropping will cause respawn failure as if never reached in the first place.

It does not give a message explaining why, however. The dialogue simply cuts out.

Those that go through the special preludes, will not be able to respawn below lvl 4 - at all.

This should be fixed to work properly after next reset, most likely. You will need to reach lvl 4 to be able to respawn. That condition still remains, but after reaching it, you will be able to even if you die below it.
