Title: NWN and Windows8

I've got a new pc running with Windows8.

If I use the loader, it just runs a bit then stops.

NWN does run if I use the nwnmain.exe, (though 2/3 times it crashes) but I can't access the DM client that way.

Any tips?

Try running nwn.exe in administrator mode. it should let you acsess the DM client that way. You'll just have to direct connect to EfU then

There's the -dmc switch for nwmain, which is for running nwmain as a DM client.

Thanks for the tips. Problem solved.
For those who'll experience the same, don't install the game in Program Files(x86), it has authorization conflicts.
