I've seen it happen from time to time on many plants. If you wait a moment then click again it goes away. I don't know if it's a lag thing or what but it's not restricted to any single plant that I'm aware of.
This particular one was the one near the bedrolls in the Ark.
It could be the bug that sometimes gives you dialog options from another, recently opened dialog (or so I think it was stated as).
Like sometimes when I go do research or use the elevator in House of Knowledge, I get some rather strange options.
