Title: Headless characters, except with helmets
Post by: Moonglow on June 02, 2014, 06:32:28 PM
I recently had to enter an area with particular HAKs in it, and was asked to activate them with a command. (/c hak on, or something like this) Since that day however, almost everybody I meet are headless, except when they put helmets on. I don't have CEP installed, but this problem wasn't there before activating the command. What do you think would correct the situation?

Thanks.

Hello!

Have you downloaded and installed the haks mentioned in this thread (http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81588)?

We don't use CEP. It is horrible.

We got some selected haks we use to enhance things here or there, and they are optional to use, though greatly suggested as they have few nice things to enhance the experience, such as few very nice areas.

If you do write active haks with the command you wrote, it will start requiring the haks from you. So since you have activated them, I would suggest you either run the launcher that downloads them for you automaticly, or you use the link on post above this one, and manually download them as instructed.

Hello, and thanks!

Effectively, I used the launcher, so I expected everything to be fine. Are there some HAKs that the launcher does not download automatically?

No. So you used the launcher linked in hak forum thread, and all worked as expected, no issues?

And you've written /c haks on , in game?

Is there a way to turn off these HAKs then, since things were fine before activating? Or would you suggest to reinstall the game? (Sh*t can happen, sometimes)

I am suggesting you make sure you got all the haks listed in the forum thread in your nwn/hak folder, and then again write /c haks on in game
and relog, then see from there. Remember, it is very specific. "/c haks on" in theory you can try also /c haks off to turn them off, but I do not remember if it worked properly. We use a system to go around Nwn enforcing haks when they are enabled on server, and it has little tricks to it.
