Ah folks it's time for the Plum to move on from EFU. I've quit and returned a few times. I came here from COA in early 2006 after being urged by Mylin to try this awesome new server. I fell in love. It was dark and the DMs gave a crap about people. There were consequences and tons of conflict. This was in its infant days too! Over the years it has grown and sometimes in a bad direction but over all it was always the best place to play. I was always a harsh critique of EFU but not because I disliked it at all. I'm sure every DM could tell you that! I love this place and the community. I enjoy seeing all the new and returning players that have come to see the glory that was the Underdark.
Sadly my time has come and not because of any issue with the server or DMs. To be honest they are a great team that put up with me and that I don't know how! I played many characters none were memorable or epic but often I played anon on random PCs no one would of suspected. I really enjoyed seeing people play for some reason. I have made friendships here that have lasted many many years and I hope to stay in contact.
A few players stand out for me, no offense to any others. Disco_Spoon my brother from another mother, we played so many concepts and did so much crazy it was a blast! Magister you always were one to keep me sane and calm. Germain I don't know if you play but you always helped me and he little man I appreciated the awesome. Wiggyboy you rock hope you know!! Also Mindmaster you inspired me to embrace nature. AMB you were a great enemy, companion and friend. Griff you act like a jerk at times but we had tons of fun over the years. Kroffz, you showed me EFU on my first character and made it unforgettable. To all the old and new DMs thanks. Oh and Ommadawn and Canzah how can I forget you two. Sorry if I missed folks it's been a long ride.
