Hey I'm new to the server and this is my first post so let me say hi. I also bring along a tagalong girlfriend that I've gotten to play with me, which wasn't easy. So far I'm enjoying it and everything is great. I did see on thing that kinda irked me so I thought I'd come here and post about it.
I was on the quest to find some children in the docks with some other people, and I saw that venom can be used to poison foods(I haven't tried it I just read the description). I'd like to humbly suggest that this be removed, as venom is NOT poisonous, and is safe to ingest(assuming the person does not have a cut in the mouth or stomach ulcer). This is because the only way venom is harmful is by direct entry into the bloodstream, usually via a cut or wound, and not through digestion. This makes venom being coated on a weapon logical.
Poisoning food does offer a good plot device, and I can certainly see how everyone would want it incorporated, but there should be a lot of other ways to find poison around the server for this purpose, just not in venom.

Yeah. I didn't go over all the inconsistencies we have in the module between RL and D&D.
Venom being ingested. It can always be justified as the venom is
'magical' and also containing another agent/propriety that makes it reach the bloodstream during digestion, strictly in D&D. I'm not the one that made the list of poisons, but I'm really not too interested in reviewing it nor reviewing the module as a whole for these inconsistencies :-(

There should be a volcano there, active or inactive, not glacial ice. OH, and it usually takes millions of years to do so. How come the world is only ten of thousands old?

So few people know the difference between poison and venom. Of all the inconsistencies, this is possibly the one I least expected to be noticed.

There absolutely are IC explanations for temperature mysteries.
Most of the stuff you can poison food with aren't venoms. I'm not sure what to say about the venoms that are good for poisoning except to say it's just the way it is.

Are any of the items labled as a venom actually those that are useable on food/drink?
I thought the spider/centipede/etc stuff was weapon-applicable, and thus introduced to the bloodstream.
I believe they have been made to also work on food and beverages, yes.

I think it would be much more enticing if you could poison boots, so that when people wear them on their feet they must make a fortitude save against whatever poison.
