Title: Better character customization
Post by: xXCrystal_Rose on October 18, 2014, 01:32:34 AM
This is a rehash of an old suggestion I made of this topic but it would really be awesome if we got a better tailoring model and a character customizer model. I can even give the models myself or suggest something like Mandragoras models. It is just a huge pain especially customizing a PC if that skin tone or hair color you chose in creation looks different in game. Or when picking a head.

Female human head models are as follows:

1-25
28-38
44-50
100-114
140-143
145-154
180

I stopped at 222 because I was getting finger cramps from doing the command line so much, but I know there are other heads out there also. That is a tremendous ammount of typing that has to be done going through up to 180 different variations just to get a head you want, and a model that can simply let you select 'next' in the dialogue for the next available head or skin/tattoo color would be such a big improvement.

I believe you can just copy /c setheadset next to your clipboard

Or, alternatively, set it as a macro to a hotkey so you just need to make a mouseclick.

I think the DMs allowed the custom heads available with consideration.  There may be new ones, though I suppose.

Yep! That's what I do

Make a hotkey on your board called "/c setheadset next" then just clicky clicky clicky clicky etc.

Considering that the creation area is often visited by new player and by people that actually don't get the command stuff, I strongly suggest that the head change to be done with an option similar to the tailor. Also, having all the options available in a menu would greatly make it easier for old veterans as well, I think.
