Evil is a very delicate balance on EFU, and with things on the server shifting and changing because of a combination of server side transformations and the October Slaughterfest of PC deaths that seems to be occurring, I think it's about time to introduce a bit of evil chaos to the mix. If you have a taste for enacting trouble with a twist (http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98722), I encourage you to consider how you can add a suitably evil touch to the server.

Needless to say, you should expect some degree of character brevity; PvP will likely be inevitable.

There are a wide variety of interesting, immersive, and fun possibilities in the sphere of evil. Just because your PC is maniacal or sometimes illogical doesn't mean that you can't bring as much enjoyment to the server as all those goody two shoes. Blackguards, Assassins, and Blood Mages are all rare and distinguished PRC's to shoot for, and monsters of a wide variety (including lycanthropes!) are also prime examples of prestigious applications that might bring a unique touch to things.

But you don't need an application to have an incredible character. Here are a few random ideas:

• A goblin or kobold eking out a miserable and lonely existence on the outskirts of civilization who needs a bit of creative direction in his life. Perhaps as a jester to a greater creature?



• A smuggling rogue looking to become comfortably rich and settle down in the end of days, who also doesn't mind questionable affiliations and cruel tactics.



• A substance-addled devout of Auril who vehemently believes that she serves the coming of the Frostmaiden into the humid depths of the Underdark.



• A loudmouthed and thuggish bully that is trying to establish his gang territory in the Underdark.



• A demonbound barbarian who continually thirsts for power, and will stop at nothing to become a legendary and unstoppable force in life in exchange for his soul in death.



• A nihilist Sharran who relishes in spreading practiced misery to further her mistress' efforts in capturing the Underdark as one of her domains.

Whether you have a preexisting concept or you'd like to join in on the fun with a new PC, there are a variety of avenues to get in on things. There are outright recruitment posters put up for Vrarikorg's Vandals (http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98800) and by my present PC, Sabine (http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98710), and also a bunch of different instances of public boasting on the forums from both. You can also be distantly involved with the group in shady business (http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99120)!

Even if you aren't interested in joining a specific group, now is a perfect time for a concept that strikes out from the Sanctuary hub and tries to do something a little bit different in the Underdark. You have a collection of PC's and players that are willing to offer help and support -- for the right price, of course!

A lot of evil that I see is just dumb thug types, but the Vandals are a very classy group with very good pvp etiquette. Whatever ooc reputation and rumors they've earned which end up seeping IG are totally unfounded. Seriously worth a try! Just don't go abandoning the character once a bounty is put on them like happens far too often.

Pandip made it sound like it was a listing of evil groups, not an exclusive post of a group. I'm deleting my post nonetheless.

We're a very specific group of very evil, results-oriented more-monster-than-people individuals.

We've got great stuff in the works. Lots of room for both the monstrous, and the less monstrous. The server is ripe for the conquering.
