Characters Birbag Uskada (WriterX) and Natasha Reloin (HungLikePluto) lost their gold in sparring earlier today. They were winded and the purse dropped, and when they picked it up the bag item on the ground vanished but the gold inside did not actually get retrieved! It just poofed and vanished into the air.
Natasha only lost 12 gold and Birbag can say how much he lost and maybe give more detail. We rp'd it off ICly as a robber and hope that Hoage Smeed might reimburse them for their losses in his arena :)
I believe this was a DM thing and not a bug, would have to ask Mort.
A goblin thief robbed their pocket.
A good watchman killed it.
The gold was oddly never found. Corruption or magic? You decide.
Oh ok, whew! That explains it well then. If it was a bug it was a pretty nasty bug then but just wasn't sure if it was a real thing or not.
