It has been bothering me that there are two gender specific perks which are Rotbringer and Maiden of Woe. I am suggesting that the restriction be removed and thus open the playing field for both genders.
That is unless a DM can offer a mechanical or RP reason why the current way is greater.
Whilst originally it was for diversity, I'd presume. For RP reasons, like a Witch and a Warlock, they might be considered the gender opposites...
All of that said, I agree 100%! I wanna be able to make a female Rotbringer or a male Herald(Maide) of Woe.
I sort of like that there are gender/race/alignment restricted perks. It helps me understand more what the DMs thought of when they made them.
But maybe you can app for the one you want to be if it's the opposite gender? (If that's even possible of course)
No. If you believe you have a strong argument against the gender-specific perks, feel free to PM me. Diversity is not going to cut it.
I also recommend another tone entirely in making suggestions.
