I recognize this might be understandably more complicated than it is worth, but here it is anyway.
It would aid a lot of situations greatly if there was some player tool that could be used on a corpse that could identify if when it was last accessible if it had a Ring of Sanctuary equipped. Such as in the cases where a PC is killed, not stripped entirely, but the dead player logs off and makes identifying if a ring is present impossible.
Or even just some tool to identify if someone currently has a ring of sanctuary equipped (I believe having a ring equipped might be fairly visible?). That might make things more interesting in identifying if someone is a ringscab in Lower, or if someone is taking their ring of Sanctuary to the Lower Dark.
I have also yearned for said tools. A DM once told me that the name on a person's ring was easily readable, so it would also be great if the tool printed the name on their ring.
