do focuses in necromancy increase AB,AC etc. of animates or does it simply increase the summoning point pool?

Spell Focus / Greater Spell Focus Necromancy as I remember reduces the cost of animations (Meaning you can summon more) and you can then enhance them by activating the conversation menu with them. SF/GSF allows you to enhance then animations better.
