The summons from this song have a habit of effecting quest spawn rate. I ran the Twisting Narrows quest solo with my Myconid and with a couple of the rat swarms, suddenly dozens of eyeballs spawned and I barely got out.

I think dropping the rat swarms down to level 1 like the other summons will clean this issue up.

Likly related to the rats having a level above 1.

A similar issue is present with the Rotbringer special "Rotting corpse" zombies which are level 5.

Are you using the song to summon the rats more than once before it expires?

My combat log reads me summoning two rats, then unsummoning one, immediately upon using the song. Basically, the quest thinks I have 4 level 4+ pcs in the area.
