Title: For those of you who like to keep chat logs...
Post by: Vlaid on June 27, 2015, 09:21:31 AM
I found a tool that you may or may not already know of that helps edit large amounts of text quickly.

http://textmechanic.com/Find-and-Replace-Text.html

Just type the text you want to replace and then the text you want to replace it with into the box below and it will do that for every instance. This allows you to quickly replace lots of:

[Veteran Noob] Szul Thrazaluun: [Talk]
with..
Szul Thrazaluun:

You can then do that for each individual talker in the log. Turns what might be a few hours of work into a minute or two.

I've been informed you can do basically the same thing in notepad with replace under edit.

So I guess there's that too.

The hotkey is Ctrl+H.
