Title: Grenadelikes! (Acid, fire)
Post by: Cruzel on April 21, 2009, 10:08:22 PM
I do think that these should be beefed up, back to their original damages or even MORE.  To be honest, 1 damage to everything in the radius, easily blocked by endure elements is a complete joke.

Oil bottle bombs and Acid Bombs are not much better, those are like 1d6 if I remember right.

Please boost the damage somewhat!

Agreed. Never use them after the first time, their are not worth the gold.. or the round for that.

Agreed, seriously, these things should be something people shout 'Grenade!' over

Maybe if alchemist fire could set them on fire? 1d6 damage + 1d4 damage for 2 rounds from fire (like comburst)

Oh, that would be so awsome to see.

(not an actual suggestion, but it would be cool to see :P)

Pretty sure these haven't been modified.

Both have situational use, alchemist fire more than the other.

The actual bombs are extremely powerful.

Firebombs/Acid bombs are obscene.

Alchemist Fire/Acid Flasks have their use.

Oil bottle bombs are Grease grenades. They are good.

Obscene when talking about low levels. I don't complain about them, they are good.

And as far as i'm concerned, alchemist fire is only usefull to add fire damage to your weapon, while acid flask only to kill trolls (if the need acid to kill trolls things is implemented on the module) but actually throwing them at an enemy is simply a waste of gold.
