Title: EFU Donations
Post by: Howlando on March 29, 2018, 06:59:36 PM
What with EFU modernizing in various ways, I was persuaded to establish a low quality Patreon page for those who prefer to make regular monthly donations in order to pay for server expenses.

I want to emphasize that donating really gets you absolutely nothing beyond the satisfaction of helping pay for the costs of a pretty cool project.

In the event that donations ever go beyond monthly expenses, additional funds will be saved and perhaps used for the benefit of some amusing purpose in the distant future.

Anyway, here is the Patreon Page (https://www.patreon.com/howlando)

You may also still send donations to PayPal howlando@gmail.com

Thanks to all!

With recent high levels of enthusiasm for EFU, I thought I would mention that donations are definitely gratefully received: either a direct sum sent to howlando@gmail.com or feel free to contribute something regularly to  our Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/howlando).

We are doing OK with direct server expenses but it would be nice to build up our war chest for the future!

Just a quick note to mention that SqtCommander has generously donated some art with which to festoon our Patreon tiers (https://www.patreon.com/howlando/membership).

We are grateful to those who choose to donate either through a membership through Patreon or occasional gifts send via PayPal to howlando@gmail.com

For those who are interested, signing up as the "Goblin Tier" to send us a little less than 1$ a month might be a nice way to show your appreciation as a lover of EFU.

Of course donations get you absolutely nothing in EFU, and never will. We are very proud to provide a totally free product. We are also doing entirely fine with fixed server expenses.

However, we are tentatively looking into buying some art assets from people outside of the community and having a little extra cash available for that might be of some benefit. So if you're in a position to send EFU some $$$, you are welcome to do so!
