EVERYTHING IS WRONG.
So what do we do?
We complain of course. Welcome to the Complainful Guild of Whiners, where our singular most defining goal - dare I say, our raison d'être - is to complain and whine about every perceived ill of the world. The world's not fair, but we don't have to suffer in silence!
Background:What began as IC mockery and tongue-in-cheek ad hominem attack against our unwilling founder has in its own twist of irony been flipped upon its back and embraced as an outlet for rightful protest against all the myriad problems facing the honest and good people in the City of Rings. Think about it, Ring 99 is a pretty messed up place where people are dying every day. It's such a place where the most sane people might just be the ones who feel like the least: those who do nothing but vocally complain about everything and anything that is wrong, perceived, actual, or otherwise. And the best part is, they're probably right about the wrongs - but who will take them seriously?
Goals:
- To compile a great list of all the things that are wrong with the City of Ills.
- Offer legal/imposed representation to those who are unable or unwilling to complain.
- To become such a powerful force of complaints and whining that people actually start listening and following our criticisms.
- To cultivate an information network of complainers and whiners across the City of Ills (secret members permitted).
- To somehow be recognised by the Guildmasters as a legitimate guild without following the usual channels to achieve this status.
- Optional: try to convince our unwilling leader, the outspoken Lady Soppira Hinkley, through acts of kindness, gifts, compliments and other supportive efforts
(possibly even complaints as a last resort) to take her rightful place at the head our guild, representing the good of all people!
The Ultimate Goal:Raise a Guildmaster of Ticker Square from the Worshipful Guild of Complainers.Disclaimer: The optional goal should only be pursued in a tasteful way IG as to avoid causing OOC upset unnecessarily. Otherwise just treat "Lady Soppira Hinkley" as an inspiration/spiritual figure rather than necessity of converting the character.Motto/Modus Operandi:But make sure, that whatever you do, complain and whine first and nothing else. Let the world hear our endless protest until it can do nothing but give in to change.
PC RequirementsAlignment: Neutral/Good/Lawful (exceptions may be permitted for Evil/Chaotic, in the case of those strange anomalous complainers who actually want to take action against the "bad guys")
