Oh Lord... my first ever character on EfU was Merin B'tziel the Madaxe Hin, wannabe serial killer. He runs directly into the the Scholar and tries to join him... best first two hours I've ever played.

This thing is a beast. The first time I did it I got a reward that was... well, I won't talk about it. Suffice to say that my buddy Ix used it to remove a mummy's face... or rather to remove the mummy's ability to remove 'his' face. Second time hold person scroll. *shrugs* The rewards keep me guessing, and the time it takes... I did the third incarnation, the one with six disks, and it took me well over a half an hour. I actually lost my mind a little.

Well done making this time consuming enough to balance it out! Drove me up a wall...

Seriously though, don't miss it at all. The flyers annoyed me and I never really cared who won anyways. Kind of like a lot of people in RL with elections... I heard a sad quote earlier this week, "If we stop voting will they all just go away?"

Anyways, I use a tower shield as a part of my character's combat-style, something I tend to roleplay if I'm not clicking madly at the "Cure Crit" potion...

So I would appreciate this greatly. Also, I do a fair amount of questing and try to do different jobs, and I've yet to see a single +1 AC large shield with this character.

Insofar as I've seen, all the tower shields other than the Copper one have Weight Reduction in addition to other bonuses. Mercenary/Jergali/Pimped Nightriser shields shill beat them though.

And of course, I would have the copper.

EDIT: Right, it's installed, but I'm really not certain what I am supposed to do with it. Changing the three listed fan speeds does nothing that I can either see or hear, and only one actual RPM detail is listen, and it nears 5000.

LiS, I want you to roll up a crazy min-max uberbuild, see how ripped you can get him, and then have a DM rez Lenny so you two can fight. That would be entertaining in the extreme.

However, I only met Lenny once. He was a nice guy, oddly enough.
