I for one feel that JaydeMoon's Weird Personal Analogy should be documented and uploaded to YouTube so that we can all learn something about personal growth.

Gyazo is pretty nice if you play in windowed mode. It uploads the image automatically and opens the page with your browser, so if you want to save a local copy you have to do it manually after the upload.

I have a suspicion that Remove Curse is not working correctly. About three weeks ago, a character of mine moved up a Withering stage while questing in an area of, IIRC, "grating" itch level (it was Tower of Mercy).

After finishing the quest I logged out (this is about 30-60 minutes after having gotten the message indicating I had moved up a stage). When I next logged in, the server had reset and I was in Mistlocke. The character in question cast Remove Curse on himself twice (at caster level eight) and I saw no change in Withering level.

Played with him only once or twice, but it involved a big confrontation with his rival, the Heavily Withered Man and a small army of undead.

Really great PC and, IMO, an example for all would-be heroes.

I recommend an association (Muster, Aberdenn, Caermyn) character. If there are other people in your association online when you log in you can roll with them and if not, you are the go-to guy. It's a win-win!

When the Muster went to Murdertown, we saw a sign that said "No sneezing," so the rest of the time, of course, Neville seemed to be suffering from an allergy attack.

And more banter (after a Musterman had his arm taken by Father Michael):

Great PC Balop, cheers.

#1 RWG fan checking in.

Enjoyed this PC a lot! Nice escape attempt at the end. Sorry I kind of screwed it up.

This is a conversation my PC had with Bill before he started blowing things up. I was trying to make him an informant, and he was trying to demonstrate the value of leaving him alone. (Spoilers omitted!)

[In the first frame, he is offering drugs.]

Quote from: Spiffy Has;279268Withering is meant to be scary. <3

I definitely do understand this, but I think there's a fine line between the Withering being a "consideration" and an "excuse," meaning... the average PC should be willing to leave the Veil despite the Withering if there's a good reason.

That said, I didn't realize the XP cost was down from 200, so I guess this is another of my suggestions where the DM team is out ahead of me.

If I had to guess, I would guess that Oblivion is making an infinity engine game. There was some gossip about this when one of the Oblivion higher-ups mentioned that he'd like to do another RPG in this tradition.

Icewind Dale II is awesome. It uses 3e rules, too (maybe 3.5? I can't recall) so it will be immediately accessible to NWN players.

Was not aware of this!

Disregard accordingly.

I've played the demo - you have a limited number of key mappings to skills. It's a little bit like DOTA or LoL in that regard. But if you remember swapping skills in Diablo 2 and how cumbersome it was to bind the F1-F12 keys to skills and swap them rapidly (like for assassin charge-up and finishing moves), this is a huge improvement.

It's nice that you don't have to click gold to pick it up. Items that drop also glow green/blue/yellow or whatever depending on their power/scarcity.

Also when you're wandering around there's a lot of stuff that's neat- like monsters will jump out from trees and doors and things, as opposed to just kind of wandering around in the killing fields MMO-style.
