I'm against elitist position, I fear none of us would play effectively a mage with Int 16 (one person that can master without problem 4 language), so some degree of dice rolling may be tollerated.

I think this is wrong, if one join in secrecy to a banner you discover him in a ooc mode, another example, Gurgle the Barbarian kill a Stygian and go around the woods in armor and full helm, Minnie the Stargazeer see him (and she don't know Gurgle) but she know now that he is not a stygian because she had set the stygian faction hostile

I was against this new party system, now that I had tried, I love it!

Now is possible to bluff more, a rookie can boast himself as a veteran, and a veteran can lie and pass for a newbie. You will judge a mage from spell cast ( no more, mage 28 hit, ah 5 lv with cost 14 , or a fighter with 28 hit? oh no a kamikaze, if we wanna see him alive after the first fight, we must...).

I have see some item against this spell (a simple and common potion of protection  from allineament, to some cloth that make you immune to hold person  )

Maybe a item only for wizard (or sorceror) that give you a +5 in discipline can be useful , if you feel the problem is Invis-o-ganks make hiding person visible with true sight perhaps can be the solution
