Whilst I'm not actually a halfling, I've got a human PC who'd be very, very interested in the group and would probably fit in fairly well, after a while gaining trust. How could I go about finding this group?

Possible solution: Increase the Intelligence of the character by 8 in the character creation area. Allow it to level up, getting 4 extra skill points. Remove the extra 8 Int before the character enters the world.

I can see what you mean. Perhaps not a construct theme, but a Law theme?

Sounds good. Can't you just take an elemental one, though? It's neutral enough, right? Earth is neither totally good nor somewhat evil.

Sorry, but I'm against this. New players can ask for help with OOC things in tells, for one thing, and whilst OOC tell conversations aren't part of RPing, they're important to actually have a sense of community.

All I can see happening is a lot of people going OOC in the main channel instead, which I think we can agree isn't the best result.

Might as well suggest we remove the forums.

I suppose you're also going to want a Dex-based Barbarian with a club, a German Cleric, an Orc Fighter with a huge repeating crossbow, a Ranger with a bow and a hat and a bladder problem, an Hellfire Warlock, a trap-specialist rogue, an Evoker/Fighter specialising in Fireball and a Conjurer?
