I imagine that the text would be flooded if overused, but perhaps a DM can set it on items as a reward for casting PCs. There is already a lot of text spam in chat and larger events, and I think that the emotes should be saved for dramatic moments or used every once in a while.

Imagine buffing for an event where just one person may be casting multiples of the same spell. For example casting bull strength:
[Muscular arms weave crimson magics over their companion]
[Muscular arms weave crimson magics over their companion]
[Muscular arms weave crimson magics over their companion]
[Muscular arms weave crimson magics over their companion]

Items that provide colored text when players cast certain spells -is- cool though and I am sure people would be jealous!

The duelist being dex focused (or at least requiring dex with light and medium armor) is a much needed change and stops players from auto defaulting to it for +AB. However, the perk was dealt too much of a nerf in my opinion with the removal of uncanny dodge. Since the focus of the perk is more on dexterity characters, getting uncanny dodge would be a major help to these lightly armored warriors. Otherwise duelists are going to be picking fighter/rogue instead to regain some of their previously lost bonuses.

I do not like the idea of adding even more hoops to playing a PC. EFU has always had cheap multiclasses and was fine when the restriction was just to ranger/monk, druid/monk, and barbarian/fighter. Over the years I have seen strong combinations mostly revolving around the monk and high BAB classes which led to locking down multiclass monk entirely. A few select cases of PCs ruined it for everyone else.

Adding more restrictions to classes only serves as a detriment to players jumping in to characters. The balance of the server in older chapters was that if you play such a power heavy class combination you would receive less powerful loot from a DM than you would if you were to play something less like a bard/wizard or bard/cleric. The fact is that fighter/bard, and fighter/rogue, are such strong for providing tumble/AC investment that it is worth the loss of AB. Always have been. The way that they were made less popular was the use of fighter perks, and bard perks to encourage them to break away.

This sounds like a problem with roleplay and expectation over the balancing of the class combination itself. It is up to DMs to enforce that, and I don't think restricting another class is a good idea. Have more faith in your fellow player and increase awareness of this feeling rather than cutting it off for everyone who doesn't want to app. There are many things I would rather see the team do than waste time trying baby proof and over balance a game nearing 15 years old.

EDIT: If you want to ruin/rebalance certain multiclasses, focus on direct changes such as opening monk up but giving them a BAB decrease for fighter. Obsessed about bard/rogue UMD being broken on fighter then provide a small penalty instead of locking it.

I think the moral standard once held by good aligned players has shifted towards an OOC good vs an actual IC good. If you are a good aligned pc bent on being a good person, you should not associate yourself with necromancers, aberrants, demons, devils, etc. If you are a neutral person the same will most likely appeal but at a lesser scale.

Those who do collaborate and work with these creatures and their owners will earn evil points. Those who collaborate and work with these creatures will be free roam to the likes of paladins, clerics, and other do-gooders to fight and possibly kill.

The dark arts hold a tremendous risk to them. This is how it should be.

Wages should be saved for app faction or promotional status. I do not want to see a repeat of waged guards this chapter. The best option is having a favor store with access to some guard throwables, potions, and faction gear.

I think that even with all of the changes, barbs could use one more.

I am suggesting that barb rage be done through charges rather than having just one.

As an example, you get 1 at lv1, 2 at lv4, 3 at lv8. Each rage charge you have has its own timer. So what would happen is when you use a charge a timer starts so timer1 begins. Five minutes later you use another rage charge and that starts timer2. Five minutes again and you use charge 3. So by this time your cooldowns for your charges would look like (assuming this barb has a 12 minute CD):

Timer1: 2 minutes left
Timer2: 9  minutes left (+2 from fatigue)
Timer3: 16 minutes left (+4 from fatigue)

I think that this would keep in line with how barbarians were played in the past and allow them to use their signature rage far more frequently.

Have a universal 'bad luck' script that changes the experience of players would be magnificent. This would cut down on the need for DMs to come IG to punish certain PCs and provide a tangible punishment as to reduce the amount of complaints some players may have down the line and destroy any idea that there is an inconsistent amount of punishments.

No player will be punished more than another bad luck player. No player will be punished less than another bad luck player. Having different stages depending on just how bad the person goofed is possible.

I am having an issue where I was able to make my character without having all 30 of the stat points spent. I have done the math and the stats add up to 28 instead of 30. If a DM could please help me by changing one variable on my PC, I would very much appreciate not rerolling this pc.
