The Luminous Vanguard is an adventuring company dedicated to good works on Ymph. It is a collection of virtuous men and women, all unique in their own way but united in dedication to adventurous pursuits, good works, protecting and aiding the common people, and battling the evils on the Archipelago.
PCs most suitable for:
Shrewd, dedicated and resourceful characters are what we need. For PC Alignments, Lawful Good and Neutral Good would be best but Chaotic Good could work fine too and there are many types of Neutral Aligned concepts that would also do well here. Characters that are too extreme would not do so well though, but variety is always nice. Do be aware though that the group may be a little slanted towards the teachings of Chauntea and actions that a Paladin would approve of/tolerate as the leader is a Paladin of Chauntea.
The group is quite informal though and inclusive, it is truly meant to be open to a large variety of characters. Joining us doesn't mean that you can't join DM Factions either or vice versa.

General Goals and other stuff:
Some of the group's goals and plans are best learned IG and so, I'm just going to mention general stuff and some examples of stuff we do. The Vanguard's goals in general would be typical adventuring company stuff (exploring, facing hard challenges, questing together in fun ways, and etc.) with a Good Aligned twist, but we go beyond just adventurous pursuits, and try hard to act proactive against evil groups and PCs as well.
We work to build alliances with like-minded characters and bolster other good causes too, and strive to restore the farmlands or find a new source of food for the Colony to relieve the food crisis, and so on.
There is really quite a bit of other stuff we also involve ourselves in and there are lots of stuff the group could do beyond that as well.
