Narwen felt integral to the setting. It has been a struggle to now think of moving on without her. I really, REALLY enjoyed our interactions and any time Narwen wanted to get down and do some cool mystic vibes it was truly great. I'll really miss her! What a fantastic character!

Katya was such an inspiration to the roots of what I wanted to portray. She was a reminder of how complacent I had become with certain mannerisms.

Her characterisation was outstanding and the server is less for her passing. Also she spin. Spin real good. Kill many orc. :) Good luck on the next.

Ulf was such a dynamic dwarf. His growth from hand in the Duunthall to this wall of a leader at the head of the Rathgan.

I'll miss him and the way he used try to get Aurelio involved in so much.

He drifted in like a soft breeze. Stumbled into religious authority and turned out to be an even hand at the job. I wish I had gotten to interact with him more.

Good luck on your next!

This was a masterpiece. A special thank you to all the DM team for contributing to the horror of the jungle and the year long war of woe!

Also I'd like to reach out and give a round of applause to DangerousDan, Halfbrood and WriterX for a superb and pivotal part in all of it. A tremendous effort from everyone involved, I will literally be sharing stories from this when talking about RP games for years to come.

If you have not spilt lifeblood, then I can see no need for atonement.

Wash your hands, face and feet thrice tonight before your prayers to the Mother. Then see a tithe of cleaned coins to the Water Temple as a show of piety.

Justice is done. Well done.

Yours faithfully,

Dearest Faith,

Is it true what I hear? You have spilt lifeblood at the most sacred site of The First Wheel?

Honoured Lujayn,

I regret that I do not know what proper title to address you as in this letter, but I pray you are of good health and cool day.

Regarding what we have spoken about, I have set to writ three quests for students and balladeers to pursue in defence of the faith.

At this stage the total expense will amount to two thousand six hundred dinar.

I anticipate that we will need to reconsecrate several areas and this will incur a hefty cost as we replace the divine guardian statues that once safeguarded pilgrims against the wicked.

We may speak more of this in person if you have any further questions.

Yours faithfully,
Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon

Excellent work putting this together.

We'll talk more in person but I think you're right regarding the mishandling of the Camel Messengers. I intend to deploy a new battle tactic using Whispering Wind Wands.

My hope is that we can get the Camel Messengers to relay their movements, and information to a person on standby near the Bellows at the camp which can then parrot these messages for us all to hear.

Distance may be an issue, it is something we must practice and investigate.

Yours faithfully,

Misfortune,

Mazeed has been prattling on about the Wyrm over the bellows again, after such gracious attempts at redemption.

Keep an eye on him.

Journals and Musings / Re: Aurelio d'Lyon's Journal

Iyar 16th, IY 7789. A time when the Blossoms announce themselves.

Sleep came as a tide last eve. A suffocating, drowning tide that filled my lungs and permeated the furthest reaches of my being.

I have started drinking again.

It was no pleasant dreams that I thrashed against. She came again, another of Her visitations. Thrown into the boughs of blackened roots, of screaming needles. A glade of ash, a glade of graves. I was a wolf. I was eyes. I was hunting, I was running. I saw Her.

The forest was thick with the stench. Meat. Burnt Meat. Burnt Dreams. Blood. Bronze. Silver. I saw Her, her face obscured by a veil of fire. She wept as she held the blade in her hands, but her tears were not of sorrow. They were of wrath.

Of these Hours, I call Thy Name.

The flames licked at her body, at the trees, at the world but they did not burn her away. The fire scoured all around my body as she beckoned me to follow... My hesitation led to great pains. Fire burns, it burns the pads of my paws. It burns away my fur. I am not afraid. Fear is an old friend.

Caught in a tempest of flame and shadows, led to the altar. Where lays the Cup. The snake wrapped around it snapped and hissed at me.

DQWR. DQWR. DQWR.

He picks up the Cup.
I pick up the Cup.
He spills a drop.
I spill a drop.
The world is renewed in green'ry!
The world is consumed in fire.

And I Cry for Thy Death, Cry for Thy Death, Cry for Thy Death.
