Seers (Lowerdark Crypts) is easily done by any group with even /modest/ preparations, the boss can be dangerous I suppose, but you guys are crazy saying its too hard. Even the addition of dispels was a fairly minor increase in difficulty. The only thing wrong with it is lado filled the loot table with his plot junk. :)

Wouldn't it be possible to create a completely custom opposed school system by forcing all wizards to be generalists, having them choose a specialization + opposed school through player tools if desired, adding bonus spell slots to the creature skin, and just preventing them from casting or learning spells from their opposed school through scripting?

Communicate with players.
Call-out threads and irc tirades just make people defensive, and rightly so. If you are seeing things that you consider negative then talk to the players, one on one. Be polite, be constructive. Then incentivise what you would like to see. Maybe some people won't get it, but most will, and it will work a hell of a lot better than harboring secret shit-lists or 'spice' that has no purpose other than FDing people.
