Watching and hearing about his exploits from afar has been an absolute pleasure. I hope you consider playing more elves in the future. Elebril aligned perfectly with how I imagined an elf in EfU:R's setting would be like, and I'd personally love to see and interact with more characters like this in the future.

Good job!

You already know how I feel about Mal. Excellent PC, excellent characterisation, excellent banter.

Gonna miss him.

My heart sank a little when I heard about Intar's demise. I genuinely enjoyed his warmth and almost indomitable cheeriness.

Wandering through the Underdark with Intar while talking about everything and nothing, scrambling down the Spire while being harried by a Dread scouting party (and carrying an insensate bear-that-wasn't-really-a-bear), witnessing his grief as he learned more about his god's fate (an incident that had me on the verge of tears IRL), I enjoyed all of it immensely, and I will really miss his presence in the server. Looking forward to seeing what you've got in store for us next!

::[ DM Shout : -- It is said that the man offered a potion of death. Those who drink it would surely die. The square frequenters ask themselves if drinking it was glorious, or plain stupid. They agreed on both as Valeria Lark, known drinker and frequenter of the Grotto downed the potion and was ripped apart from the inside. -- ]::
::[ DM Shout : -- Unsure whether to laugh, cheer, or cry, the populace goes back to their daily routine. -- ]::

Valeria Lark is dead.

She started off as just a throwaway created to kill time with Nezgul while I came up with a proper concept. She was a fairly simple character, a down-on-her luck mercenary with a nihilistic streak a mile wide who just wanted to get what little pleasure she could out of life before the world ended.

I still haven't quite mastered the art of taking screenshots, so this is the best I have to offer. <_<

[hide=Her early adventures with the Grey Crowns were incredibly fun largely because of the party banter. The dynamic she shared with Mal was particularly enjoyable.]

[hide=Bones, otherwise known as Elystan, was fun to hang around, and I wish I had the time to explore their relationship further]

[hide=I really liked her cloak. It fit her perfectly.]

Thanks to all the DMs and players for making Valeria an enjoyable ride for me, and I hope it was as much fun for you guys as it was for me.

What are, in your opinion, the essential elements for telling a good story in a setting like EfU?

Are there any plans to add more huge puzzles like Entsenhung (sp?) to the server?

What direction would the server have gone in if the Seven Steps of Sanq were not completed?

What motivated you to devote so much time and effort to EfU?

Will the Mist play any sort of role in future plots? H'bala? Ymph?

If EfU could be transferred over to a newer, shinier platform, would you consider it?

The illusionary areas in the Machine are a refreshing change to the otherwise dreary UD tilesets. Are there any plans to expand those areas further?

Is Tau immortal?

I vaguely recall hearing about one of the DMs in EfU1 creating a massive permadeath dungeon for players to tackle. I forgot the name of the DM responsible, but are there any plans to bring something like that back to the server?

The grumpy merc finally got merked.

I initially made Seren in order to get reacquainted with the server after a considerably long hiatus. Somehow, she ended up getting involved with the Watchers, and things sort of snowballed from there as she got involved in a bunch of interesting plots/events and met some incredible characters along the way.

I'd like to give a big thank you to the entire playerbase and DM team for making my experience with Seren an enjoyable one (except for gloinar because he is a huge jerk), and I hope that it was as fun for you guys as it was for me.

I'm really bad at this whole taking interesting screenshots thing, so this is all I have.

There was also an incredibly cool buckler that I won during Elmo's tournament, but I sadly was never able to get screens of it.

Thanks again for all the fun, EfU. Stay awesome.

That was incredibly intense. Being able to witness moments like these are a large part of this server's appeal to me.

Excellent work, dude.
