NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD!

I'm a little biased in liking Alethia.

It's always a joy to meet with characters who are ready to earnestly engage other pcs. Alethia didn't shy away from other ideologies and world views, and made a point to try and understand everyone she knew. It was really refreshing having somebody ask me 'why' about aspects of my character. She will be dearly missed!

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Killing the Pride of Jultar
January 08, 2018, 06:16:34 AM

A debt was collected

An agreement was broken

Friends were assembled

A trap was laid

Allies were called upon

Bait was secured

Nerves were steeled

And the prey appears!

Ayes raised high the blade of the lake...

And the Pride falls, as the forces of Dread appear to contest the hunters for their prize.

As the Swords of Kingsley were brought low, the Pride found strength enough to stand and face the warband! The battle is long, and four brave souls are snuffed out...

..But a Legend dies.

And the Heroes of the hour, weary and bereft of boon companions, muster what energy they can to celebrate.

For now, it is over.

You didn't think you were escaping without some screenshots did you?

Incarjeras, or 'Stick' as I accidentally named him and had to roll with forever despite being a terrible nickname, was pretty great. Playing an alien mindset is hard, more so an actually insane one, but you did it really well. He was a delight to just interact with, and as a result we wound up sticking to each other really quickly just for the sake of having more weird conversations. You know how to bring characterization like no other, and I look forward to seeing whatever does wind up coming next.

PS, you'll be seeing a few more shots of him in a thread that's a little overdue.

I was really happy when you brought the Doctor back out of retirement. His view about the nature of evil as something to be pitied and cured was very unique and gave him a very fun perspective. It was enjoyable seeing a man with such overflowing and often unfounded empathy, taking a medical interest in those far beyond what most would consider to be worth saving. I think it made him really stand out, and I am going to miss our discussions about the nature of evil.

And then he got eaten by a big spider! I don't think they cover that in pod man medical school...
