Suggestions / Slumber Adjustments for GSF
June 18, 2020, 02:34:42 PM
Slumber should be more similar to it's counterpart.

SF Enchant - HD x2
GSF Enchant - +2 DC
GSF Necro - upon waking up target suffers from 3 rounds of fear

Dream Eater Rework:

Lvl 1- gain nightmare tool that is useable every 60 seconds, immunity to sleep, sleep DC +1, gain Spell token with sleep 3/day

Lvl 5 - sleep and slumber both affect x2 HD, sleep DC +1, Slumber DC +1, Nightmare useable every 40 second, spell token upgraded to sleep 5/day and Slumber 1/day

Lvl 8 - Sleep and slumber DC +1, nightmare useable every 20 Seconds, +2 cha, Sleep Token upgraded to Slumber 2/day

Remove the crappy dream eater summon from the nightmare pool. It isn't even immune to sleep and will knock itself out, it's also incredibly useless against anything that's not rats.

Suggestions / Tweak Tridents
May 10, 2020, 06:32:44 PM
Tridents are cool. They kinda are stanky base statwise. When they were changed from being 1handers to 2handers, their stats were never adjusted to match.

Comparisons:

Spear: large, simple weapon. 1d8 damage x3 crit

Greataxe: large, martial weapon. 1d12 damage x3 crit

Greatsword: large, martial weapon. 2d6 damage 19-20 critrange

Trident: large, martial weapon. 1d8 damage x2 crits

It takes more investment to use a trident, and it is straight up worse than the simple spear weapon. While I get that tridents usually have some pretty cool stats to make up for it, it usually isn't enough to warrant using a trident.

Suggestions:
-turn it 1handed again with x3 crits to be more equivalent to martial 1handers
-Or up dmg to 1d10 and x3 crits to make it a bit better, the cool bonuses on them would then make up for the differences between them and the other large martial weapons

Water domain is fairly lackluster compared to others. The spells it gets aren't nearly as good, it has one of the weaker summoning themes, and it's turn undead isn't really that useful.

It would be neat to see it get more benefits for underwater stuff! Underwater breathing boost, bonus for swimming, or less spellfail underwater would be a nice buff to one of the weaker primary domains.
