I have returned only to be greatly disappointed by your short-sighted contract with the Banda.

You cannot be omnipresent, and your contract actively inconveniences the business of other Gold League members. It does nothing to hinder the sales of others, as they merely step outside the Krak to do so.

Revise your contract to allow the business of the entire Gold League, and allow others such as the Scribe Murassa to buy their way in.


The entire thing is rather inefficient. You would be better served paying the Banda to physically dissuade competitors outside of the gold league, and force them to raise their prices.

There is no such thing as exclusivity in brewing, but you can certainly take steps to ensure your prices are the lowest.  Mine are already higher than other brewers, as I do this recreationally. I refer the business to any other brewer whom is present, and my profit comes from the demand created when there is no supplier.

Consider your contract. It is best for you, and the Gold League that you revise it per above.

Respectfully, They are of the Gold league.  The "winning team" is only the winning team if they too profit in being on it. If you expected votes and signature for nothing?

You ought have sought this seat by running in the white league if that was your wish.

My price is paid, with my business of scrying now unimpeded. Reputation within the Gold comes from expenditure. If you wish to keep the respect, obedience, and loyalty of the league?  I advise you not to try and avoid paying the price they ask.  As with all things, negotiation is possible. This is our way. To haggle, and profit.

We see a lot of random names pop up because some people log in their old pcs for nostalgia or whatever.  This makes the rosters pretty confusing at times trying to sort out if those pcs are actually back.

Would it be possible for those pcs to not show up in the rosters if they're in the fugue/tagged as dead?

The other leagues are in disarray at present.  The Gold appears to be the only one without a challenge in the primary.


 It remains to be seen if the Banda have fully accepted your offer.  A great many have joined the leagues of late, but very few have ascended as voiced.  If the Banda has shifted from "Undecided" to "Gold", the election is yours.   The only peril you face is if the "Marcellian minimum" of either the white or the purple decide to band together and pool their votes into just one league.

I've discussed with the both of you about negotiating the Banda's return to the war, and both of you have stated your open-ness to the possibility.  All that remains is the haggling over what this will cost.  Colmes has already stated he is willing to re-instate the seat upon the council.


I am happy to sit as a mediator and friend to both parties, if desired. Do let me know.

Dear Legate,

The Banda are not loyal to me, their signatures are their own. They are rapidly becoming the majority within the Gold League and are in a position to sway the primary if another candidate pays them enough, or if they are wroth enough at your actions.  They may even all choose to sign for another of their choosing that they insert within the League.  I will caution you that no candidate that has threatened the Banda, has won their election.  Ariel tried this, and her support evaporated.  The Banda can match your spite, and I advise you not to test this.

At present, I have no need nor intent to direct my employees to do anything but do as a Gold would - To seek favor and profit in exchange for their votes. I have not directed them to oppose you in any way, and you are free to court their signatures and votes in whatever way you desire. If you are independently wealthy, I am sure you can afford them.

I shall remind you that my own price, the change to the espionage law, has yet to be paid for my own signature and support. This dossier will be the extent of the support I offer, until that price is paid.
