They say you leave a piece of yourself down there, why did it follow me back up though? Did it want me to stay away or go back?

I'm not alone am I? I don't think I am. Too much time in the dark perhaps.

Fools, eager to ignore the truths in front of them, but all willing to see an unproven one.

At the moment all the bounties are usually taken rather quickly, right now 7/8 are claimed in the first 30 hours of the reset when we are likely to see about another 50 hours on this reset. I'd like to suggest that after 24 hours of a bounty being claimed, it will be wiped and the spot will be free for a new one to replace it after the usual rng waiting time has lapsed to give a more continuous feel, similar to the job board.

I think this will help now that the server is geared to slightly longer reset times than what was considered the norm for seemingly a long time.

I sit in front of the Pilgrim torn. Torn to the Krak, torn to the Jannies, torn to the Conclave. Everyone's got questions. I haven't got the answers. That's all it is nowadays, questions, and if I don't answer I'll end up in a cell, or worse.

I wrote nothing but the truth, but even that truth would break my contract, sorry Dunstan, hope wherever you are it's better than here.

How can anyone think he killed her just because some Scorched up killer says so? Why are we treating the murderer's word as the only one that mattered? She'd kill for money, she'd lie for money. When did they even ask her? Did they not try to capture her? A nice chat like I got?

If this carries on I'll slip down below and not be seen again.

Some of us returned with our lives. Some fell. Knud fell early on, thought he was packing more tricks like that gas he threw in the spires not too long ago.

Still unsure who was really victorious that day. The Kula-Crazies lost Phaedra, we lost some friends, and it seems like the Djinn escaped? Was any of this worth it? One less elf looking for my blood. I saw the look in her eyes, after she was done killing those who remained last time, I was next. I'm glad Flint gave her a good whacking, but I think he knows what really needs to be done with that sicko. She can't escape again.

I realised on the climb I was more afraid of those freaks than any Djinn we saw. Can't even decide what was Djinn or not. Everything in there that didn't enter with us was cut and beaten down.

I hope they leave me alone, they know I can find them easier than they can find me.

Very cool PC to watch going from simple outlaw to a champion in the Fourth.

Am I the only one scared of what is to come? Everyone's so calculating, or even accepting of their perhaps upcoming deaths. Even that half crazy spider elf is convincing everyone it's ok to die. What sort of cult rubbish is that?

It's something that I think we need to see to, this threat has to be taken care of.

But why is no one scared of dying like I am? All I see are shining swords and smiles. I can tell this will be worse than any Assuru dive I've ever been on. We always made it back from those.

The hour draws closer and closer. I'll do my best to watchout for the ones that know me, but will they look down when I'm in need of care?

Correspondence / Letter to both Legates
August 20, 2025, 10:42:51 AM
Legates,

In a disused corner of the Well sits a property that is seldom used. This property idles, generating no wealth for the treasury.

I've set my eyes on it as of recent to transform it into an extension of Hasheema's Hope, so that it may provide a roof to those that are in need. I intend to purchase many bed and maintain crates of food and water so that none will have to beg in the Well. I am willing to do this out of my own coin, as well as keeping up with the rent of the building.

There is an issue I have, which Buster Grimes I believe has also written to you about as he said he would. This property is rather tricky to get to without proper tools, or relations with the Glaziers. We can not expect refugees to use this charity, if it is hidden away.

I ask from the both of you, that we may work with the Scribes and figure out if it was possible to remove the wall connecting the Hope to the opposite condemned building without imposing on any property boundaries or structural risk to the Hope.

I look forward to any response. May all that seek refuge find it in the League of White.

Wischard,

Perhaps even if you are not currently welcome in the Well, you still have sympathisers. I carry something of yours now that will allow you to slowly mend your name. When you have rested I will come and find you.

Your friend,
Bran

Very cool PC, Arymathras took my first PC for his first journey outside of the well all the way to fairly deep areas of the map I haven't had a chance to return to yet. That journey probably got me hooked to the server tbh. RIP
