Salutations, Legate Linwood.

It has been some time since we have last spoke, I do wish you well in your rigors as Legate. While I cannot fully understand how stressful it can be, having never worn the Toga myself, I can certainly empathize with your situation. Do feel free to reach out to any of your fellow Purple League members should you need anything handled with discretion.

Would that I could only have written in a wholly selfless capacity, but this was prompted by a recent discussion with Legate Grimes regarding my potential appointment to the station of Cryptguard. Aiding in its defense and maintenance, guided tours for the faithful, and the rites of the dead. He is open to this appointment but needs only your written approval for bookkeeping purposes. As we had discussed prior, I had sought out Preparator Tariq for his approval, but he has not been seen in some time, perhaps on a sabbatical of faith? I can only speculate.

I look forward to your thoughts on this matter and will be happy to discuss this further in person should you find that useful for your consideration.

There are very clear guidelines from the staff that "you can ask for (nearly) anything, but if you want anything done that will require dev work, you will need to work with a DM to actually get it implemented". Just acting like it's even technically feasible is a good way to end in disappointment.

I for one think this is a great idea and would be happy to discuss it in character, perhaps getting a petition started would be a good first step.

A copy of the penal code of Ephia's well that is able to be equipped like the other book items would be great for the Scribes and Janissaries.
