I will be running a prelude for anyone interested in around 40 minutes, which will involve being part of a minor mercenary company originating from Old Port.

Feel free to ask me about details IG before we get started if you have questions!

In the next week, I'm going to be looking for 5 players to start up a DM-supported initiative. This will involve shadowy intrigues and plots with the group being based in the Old Stones. Your PC will preferably be LE, NE or CE and inclined towards proactive criminality and villainy. He or she will be part of a canon organisation not from Ymph.

You'll be provided with a faction HQ, a prelude, starting loot and my ongoing support as a DM. Send a PM if you're interested.

As of now, quests which are specified by EFUQS to have a maximum level cap of 6 or above have had their end quest XP increased by 30% with a few exceptions for some easy/spammed quests.

New/additional exploration XP will also be added to numerous areas within the next couple of resets.

Please not that this change is made in the interests of promoting more time spent in meaningful interactions and not more time questing!

So. I am looking for a few proactive players for a plot-driven faction due to be established on Ymph. I expect it to be quite fast-paced and suited for players who play relatively regularly. It will require an app, so if you're interested please do PM me for more details soonest.

This faction will be driven by politics and intrigue, both subtle and public, of both player and my own devising. The potential for conflict (not entirely PVP) is tremendous and would therefore suit players who are concious of and comfortable with such roles.

I can't say a great deal more about this, but it will be an Old Port faction of note and involve plots new and old.

Races: Human
Classes: Non-druid, non-paladin
Alignment: Evil highly reccommended. Possibly neutral.

This faction will have a faction HQ, gear and limited NPC support as well as certain other IC perks.

So, the DMs appear to have decided to play an April Fool's joke on themselves this time and this is pretty much the result. I am both flattered and mystified, but with time and plenty of counselling I'm sure we'll make it work.

I'm excited to get to grips with it all, on a more serious note, and to start running stuff for you guys. Stay tuned!

So, my first attempt at a Stygian on EFU and it was pretty fun. I'd definitely reccommend the faction, it is awesome, especially at present. Mixing it up with being a Cyricist was interesting, but unfortunately, I forgot to take a screenshot of the infernalism or some of the more wanton murders. (Bees and Flowers!)

If you use the Bluff option and fail, he'll give you 100gp (50 before the bluff check and 50 after) despite saying that he'll only give you the cost of the package back.

It was like this back in the UD. It'd be great to get it again - it's a pain to have to get a DM while criminals are running, and so on!

Sharboneth Guard, Zekzeil (beside the front door to the Lower Dwellings) still wears the uniform of Colony Guardsman.

The dude says he'll pay you for your trouble if all of his cattle die, but doesn't seem to.

Additionally, the cattle are sometimes already dead when you transition in.

When trying to give the scrolls to Sektara, I got a message stating that I was not part of the quest and would receive no XP. This happened every time I tried to hand it in - the quest did not close.

I also got this bug after a successful Persuade check:

Probably my favourite character (of my own, obviously) yet! Thanks to everyone who interacted with him and made him interesting to play, particularly the rebel and loyalist PCs during the civil war, with special thanks to DC and Dan for the sweet rebellion plot and to Nickless and Krunto for his best buds, Sgt. Everard and Sgt. Antonov, and BP for Calley Olwyn and her awesome songs. These were just 3 characters that I'd mention off the top of my head; all of the amazing characters that I interacted with on Keel would take me weeks to list. You know who you are! Honestly, the rebellion and the aftermath of it was the most fun I've ever had on EfU.

Krown and Keel were arch-nemises, pretty much, especially after Krown refused to let him in after he and Jonas came up from Lower about 20 minutes after everyone else during the final invasion >_>. It's unfortunate I never got screenshots of their stand-off at the Barricade - if you have any, post them!


So Keel cut a deal with Sergeant Sterspar's men who were holed up inside the Town Hall with Krown - hand him over, and he'd let the rest of them go. However, as it turned out, Dentra snuck out dressed as a Private. Sneaky!

Keel and Sergeant Merrion were pals, which is one of the reasons that Keel skewered Krown through the guts instead of allowing him to be stoned.


Man, Symbaern was so close... I don't know how things would have gone had Delorme not known Keel was one of Reynolds men and showed up to help.
