Sisters,

I have heard your recent call, and I wish to present myself to undergo the task of joining you and your cause.  Please do let me know when and where to go to undertake the trial to see if I would be worthy of such a thing.

Correspondence / To Sister Xian [DM]
February 18, 2023, 02:16:45 AM
QuoteSister Xian,

It has been a pleasure to be staying in the Rose the past few days ever since arriving as one of the many refugees that have come to the city. When staying here, I have seen bits and pieces of those of your Sisterhood. But I fear I hunger for more knowledge, if it would be possible to learn more. I am intrigued by you and yours, and hope to be able to perhaps one day don the outfits as you do and follow your ways. What, pray tell, can I do to learn more of what you aim to do here in the city?

With respect,
Minx

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Lissandra Bataev
August 22, 2021, 11:43:22 PM
Alive, dead, undead, alive, dead.

That is the story of Lissandra Bataev, formerly Lissandra Fier. Lissandra Fier was a positivist, who claimed to be blessed by El. Her parents were both born into service of Moonspear, and in turn when she became of age she joined under the banner as well and joined the Silver March to return to the 99th. After the trouble with Lord Trystan, she fled and kept hidden with her friend Gwendoline Ward in the streets of the 97th. When Malik and Aatish made their presence known for their service of Lyon Moonspear, both Gwen and Lissandra went to pledge to Moonspear once more. She was fickle and whimsy, and was never able to keep still. Often acting without thinking and what the consequences would be, she kept moving forward as El would wish of her which often caused a lot of trouble. She got kidnapped by Orzans, and changelings, and then ended up being turned to being an undead by the Bonecollectors after she decided she wanted to marry a knave. Undeath was the biggest moment of change for her, but even being undead she was able to continue being a positivist. Her husband, Visangiri, traded a bit of his life essence to give to her to see her returned. And so it caused a mix of light and darkness that waged a war that left Lissandra unsure if she hated how she ended up or if it was a blessing to be able to continue on.

In the end, it was all for naught. She lost everything.

Here is an album of generic ambient shots of her life:

Bug Reports / Positivist Brewing
July 27, 2021, 12:37:55 AM
So today (7/26) at around 5:20 pst I used my positivist tool that allows me to brew some divine potions to brew cure serious potions. I selected the potion cauldron and set it to brew me 11 potions of cure serious. When I selected the tool and chose the cure serious option it gave me this in my chat log:

After handing the potions over to the person I brewed for, I noticed in my inventory that I had more cure serious than I had set to brew. I had loose empty bottles in my inventory to use for brewing, and while they were used it seemed the tool bugged out to where instead of just making 1 stack of 11 cure serious, it gave me 11 stacks of cure serious wounds.  I did not actually count all the stacks in my inventory and instead stacked them all together and I ended up having over 100 cure serious.

I took those potions and discarded them in a trash barrel, and for the moment I will refrain from using the positivist tool to brew.

Morvoren Adair is dead.

Morvoren started out as a naive diviner, the apprentice of Elabras, who was sent out with others in the Warrens to achieve the task of collecting all the pieces to open the Tower of Alledha. A native of the Warrens, Morvoren was never truly familiar with the world outside of the 93rd ring, and was eager to learn what she could. From the start, Lazarus was always at her side, helping to guide her and assisting in their shared goal. It was slow going at start, trying first to employ diplomatic means of finding what was sought after. It proved difficult, as the dwarves did not trust the wizards, and the Peerage mostly had yet to truly try to tangle themselves in it all.

When time was growing short with the attempt at stopping the Count's drill, Morvoren was approached by Orza to help them get the pieces for the house in order to place itself as the strongest house in the ward. To do this, she had to betray one of her fellow wizards. With that happening, she was able to enter deeper into the tower of Alledha, and what happened from there was the destruction of the 94th. Feeling some guilt from how that happened made her decide that she would be safer in the Peerage by giving oath to serve Orza. The fear of not having ties to something strong to help her and her order caused her to propose the idea of a marriage to Kristoff Orza, so that her Order would have Orza protection. To get that to happen, she was told by Anders and Kristoff that she would need to make Nicholas Velstra cry.  It felt like an impossible task to achieve, but she was determined to try her best to appease. An opportunity presented itself when Valentina Velstra climbed Oldspyre and proclaimed her distress to the world. Morvoren acted without thought, using her magic to cause Valentina to fall from the tower and die from it.

In the end, fate decided that her wishes weren't meant to be. The shock of the "betrayal" was too much for her, and even though she was spared and told to repent caused her to realize she could not live with all the guilt.

Thanks to everyone who I played with!

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Merredith "Merry" Winespill
December 19, 2019, 02:51:57 AM
Merredith Winespill was my second character for this chapter, and my most fun one I've had in playing on EFU.

Merry was a very sheltered girl, having been born from a woman who felt scorned by the fact she was not the primary choice for Lord Norbert Velstra. Her mother manipulated and filled her head with all sorts of lies and things to ensure that Merry would want to never leave home and always be loyal to her. Unfortunately for her mother, she grew ill and passed away, leaving Merry to be able to set out on her own life. And so she left to go to the Peerage, and join Velstra.

Her ultimate goal was to have her father recognize her, and in death she made that dream.

I had always tried to picture what I would say when the day happened I find there's not much I can say! So here's some of the screenshots I saved in my time. I'm too lazy to resize them so sorry if they are huge.

Meeting Dad

Annette, her favorite sibling

She had many drunken talks with Hawthorne

Many people were against her ties with Visimar, but the sheltered woman wouldn't listen.

Maxwell helped push her towards the path that she ended on, and she never had a single regret.

The drama with it all almost tore her and her family apart.

Burying a dear friend, Aleksiej

She tried her best to stand by Visimar even when it called being in awkward places.[/hide]

I was given a second piece of loot today but didn't screenshot, so here's the other I had, that was very dear to me.

And so ends the tale of Merry.

Bug Reports / Nephezar Blood Testing
August 18, 2019, 03:41:02 AM
"-Nephezar blood testing dialogue should now be 'quiet'"

A very minor thing, but this has not actually been changed. When people come in to test blood in the Refuge, the message are still displayed by Thaumaturge Nathaniel Torromos.

Bug Reports / Merchant Stall Stripping Item Properties
February 03, 2019, 02:01:26 AM
There seems to be a bug that when you rent a merchant stall, and put an item that is either an item set or prestigious quality, that is strips it of that and makes it just a regular item.

Screen Shots & Obituaries / Storyteller Feyre Eleneth
January 14, 2019, 08:32:10 AM
Not as prominent as certain characters that were around, but given that she was my first character that stuck with me since my attempts in returning to efu I wanted to post about her. I played in efu years ago, but hadn't gotten involved in things since then, and was glad to get back into things.

Feyre was a half elf bard, who was born and raised in Silverymoon. The product of an affair between a human and an elf, her birth was not a welcomed occasion. She grew up ignored and disliked by her own family, and because of it she developed a talent for telling stories. Many of them were made up, but to her it made her feel better about things.
She arrived to Sanctuary with a few friends, and now only one remains. I had hoped to shape her around a bit more and see things until the end, but alas it was not meant to be. Oh well, on to the next!

Suggestions / Clothes in starter area
August 31, 2014, 06:54:23 AM
So I read that there were more skirt/dress options added in game. Is it possible to get these options added to the clothes maker in the ooc starter area?

Since I don't have the time to devote to playing at the moment, I think Esme's story has reached an end. Thanks to everyone I played with, I enjoyed every minute of it!

Esmé was a minor noblewoman from Cormyr, having lived quite the sheltered life. She found herself in a whirlwind of change when coming to Sanctuary, and plunged headfirst into doing what she could in the name of good. Being the daughter of a politician, she sought to one day make a name for herself and achieve the status of Director. Never got that far, sadly. But the process of trying to get there was a lot of fun.

Anyways, some screens!

Testing my army of lightbulbs to see how many I could summon when I first made her.

She was pretty much in awe of meeting this guy right here.

My favorite screenshot of all. MY TROPHIES.

Thanks to all the dm's whose events I participated in.

Here's a couple pieces of the loot that I got.

These robes were my favorite thing ever. The fact that they ended up being my favorite color pleased me greatly.

Bug Reports / Hak Heads
June 14, 2014, 06:06:20 AM
There appears to be a bug with some of the hak heads, that after you do the /c setheadset and later on equip a hood, you are unable to ever remove it again. When you try, it switches from a masked hood and back to a hood.

Suggestions / Clothing Changing
April 27, 2014, 08:23:39 AM
This suggestion is based entirely on my vanity, and I apologize if it's been suggested before or if it's actually possible already and I haven't figured out how to do it.

But I was wondering if it would be at all possible to pay either the tailor or the armor crafter to take the enchantments of one object and place it on another. Such as taking the benefits of robes and putting it on a different pair of robes. Of course, there'd need to be restrictions to it, such as you can't take armor and make it appear as clothing, and anything else too drastic.
