Thank you for requesting an aesthetician's assessment of your furnishings.

Based on calculations, your property:
Eagle's Mount ranked at 1,564 points.

Your aesthetician,
Sister Hypatia, included the following notes:

It's coming together, but the balance of the room is off. Try to make sure you're using the whole space, and consider what furnishings match the color scheme of the room and the theme that you're going for.

We hope you will consider us in the future for your aesthetic needs.

Margarethe,

It's all right, everyone understood. Nobody took a peek in your cabinet, the gathering ended up dissolving after your departure.

Of course I'll meet with you. I hope Mae is all right. Please seek me out at your convenience.

Your friend,
Hypatia

I haven't had coffee in a while. It's really nostalgic. But everything about her is nostalgic, isn't it? It's nice to get a second chance.

Today I talked to dear Aletta about fennec foxes. She was terribly enamored.

I'm so so so happy you clicked with EFU so much! Domhnall is such a fave and I think it's really awesome that you were able to make such an impact with this silly guy.

Correspondence / [A letter for Mae Stern.]
December 18, 2023, 03:27:37 PM
Mae, is there a single world that you and I both live in?

They say that the world is made up of every thing that is. These things are defined by their traits - their fixed form - the things that we can see, and touch, and feel. These things are further defined by their relations as we understand them. All roses are roses. Not all roses are her rose.

So, the world is defined by how we perceive things, and how we understand the connection between things.

If my world is only a picture of my perception, then that's all the world can ever be to me. I can never see a world outside of what I see. There's nothing that separates me from the world that I make.

But, Mae, that doesn't just hold true for me. You make your own world, too. You see, and touch, and feel, and interpret the things you know. I can't say for sure, but I think there isn't a difference between you or the world you make, either. So you must be the world, too.

Even then, our worlds are separate. The objects are the same, but the relations between them cannot be more different. The facts of our worlds are mutually exclusive. Because of that, I can't see the world you see. I've never seen the world that you see. So there can't be a single world that we both live in.

But is that really true?

Even if the facts of our world are separate, our worlds see the same sky. Don't they? The stars you see are the stars I see.

The stars we see are still the same.

Suggestions / Re: Document Aspects on the Wiki

Yeah at this point it's just not really a secret what the aspects do? Maybe the newer rarer ones but there's not much point in obfuscating when people generally know the 'meta' already...

We're always happy to speak to you, Alejandro. I'll seek you out.

Narwen is primarily the one providing care to Ishla - I'll make sure she gets your message to her.

Legate,

We had hoped it would not come for this. But we had, also, planned for the possibility that the Blood Plague would return in one form or another. Production will increase. We currently do not intend to prioritize who receives the Cure at this time, but it is not an imprudent decision to earmark doses for healers and defenders working to protect Ephia's Well from the plague and its horrors.

A concern is that those infected near-invariably become delirious and violent in their pain in the later stages. These could cause a danger to the people of the Well, particularly if one is able to hide their sickness for a time. We must forgive them for it. There is hope for them all until the very end.

This is a frightening situation. It is not insurmountable. The Well has dealt with its like before. We pray that you will do all that you can to engender hope and unity among the people of Ephia's Well, for we are strongest when we stand together.

Relatedly, it is good that our Stele honors Izdu. Now, more than ever, it is critical that the clarity of truth might cut through darkness and superstition like a lamp through fog. The Magi has given us the way to illuminate our own path. Let us move forward, and emerge from the other side of this crisis all the wiser for it.

Sister Hypatia
