Suggestions / new spell - change weather

Would be a high level (5th circle) druid spell, but the "sun" and "rain" facets of it might be open as domain spells to sun and storms domains.

Pretty simple really.  3-4 uses:

Make it sunny
Make it rain
Make it foggy
Make it storm

Duration of each would be independant of the caster resting, lasting maybe 8 ig hours.

Noticed a bug with this today.

Chain of events is this:

1.  Pick a pc's pocket.
2.  Fail the pp roll.
3.  Bluff is rolled and the check is successful.
4.  The target of the pp gets a status message that says "you just noticed (pc name) try to pick your pocket!
5.  The target got a message saying that " (pickpocketter) noticed your attempt to pick his pocket, but that the (target) managed to remain calm and not attract suspicion."

Obviously, in event 5 the wrong person got the message, and the names of the pickpocket and the target are reversed.

Finally, I have a sneaking suspicion that the target was supposed to get a final message; something about my bluff roll mitigating suspicion.

When the pp roll is successful, it all seems to work properly.

Does not seem to get added to the roll when you do a *roll set trap check*.

Not sure if its a bug, by design and just really crummy, or just horrendously bad luck on my part.  Last three times I've done Hagatha's herbalism quest, I got the exact same Thorn Helm item as reqward.  Previous characters I've done it with have gotten random items from the selection fine, and this was working at least a week ago.

The entrance out of sewertown is broken.

It seems that many, if not all of the UD quest transitions no longer work, now that they have been renamed to "UQA - "

Notably, the entrance transitions, and the transitions on Jubals from Land to water areas and vice versa.

Too good, imo.  

I know it has a counter, but the counter isnt scribe-able, and thus not very prevalent.  

There aren't enough items with the counter in them to use.  

It makes a class that is arguably among the best classes there is (Wizards) better, and makes one that is arguably among the worst (rogues) worse, in that it takes away from the need to hire rogues for spying.

Its too easy.  You cast the spell, pick a player name and go.  Sure, you need to be by a thingy, but there is no reason NOT to do so.

In pen and paper, you need personal knowledge of the person you are scrying, whether it be in carrying something they owned, or whatnot.

I suggest that a special component be required to scry, a'la Raise Dead requiring a Diamond.  If you want to scry someone, you need to shell out 500 gold for the components.  (DMs can figure out the price).

Then of course, a recipe can be added to Alchemy that will allow that item to be made, but with a high DC, to spawn a player market on said item.

Questgiver has no quest information, and though he offers the quest, the character limits seem to not work properly.  Had a group of level 4-6's, and we couldnt take it due to "Maximum Character Level not respected".

One of my favorite aspects of EFU, and even in EFUA it could be IC for it to have found its way up.  Can we please get it added to the current crafting system?  I will table a standing offer to assist in making loot and writing crafting descriptives.

The first transition on the way down -into- the way, cant be traversed back up.  Therefore, anyone that travels the way, is trapped down there as it currently stands.

Just got done reading the latest Ed Greenwood book - Elminster Must Die, and for your purists out there, we finally have some canon Realms swears to use.
 
So, they are:
 
Stlarn - As far as I can tell, it is similar to "damn" or "darn".
Farruk - "Fuck", used in the same manner. "Farruking", "Farruk it".

There are just too many really good plot ideas that have died prematurely to a poorly justified ganking, or to a first encounter PVP, or to any of the myriad situations that pop up in which people justify ending another players character.

Why do we need a DM to chop off a players hand, but we dont need one to FD someone?  Why do we need a DM to keep someone for ransom, but no DM to just off them?  It's no wonder so many PCs are ended.  It's far easier to do.

Now, I submit that because all of these other situations cannot be made as simple as FDing someone, that instead we make FDing someone as hard as all these other situations.

In other words, remove the FD option completely from players grasp, and make it so that a DM is required to change you to FD mode if you want to kill someone outright.  In this manner, there will at least be some small amount of oversight over the reasons WHY PCs are slain, and maybe there will even be a little more "cool" things happening to them, rather than an outright gank+FD.
