Introduction

Since the first settelers in our fair colony arrived with nothing but hovels and tents for shelter makeing liveing here we have been plauged since then by a army of undead simple known as the nightrisers since i arrived in this colony i have fell foul to being lost in the ruins since then i have followed them on there patrols hidding for my life as i watch them when the roam the surface and they have my eye i must know more i siad to my self so i researched them noted every move they made now i havent been here long so i also took to asking others about them, reading as much as i could now this book i write help other understand the surface of the nightrisers and perhaps better defend them selfs aginst them.

What is a nightriser?

The qestion of everyone who ether arrives by ship or by the strange device that brings people here when they hear the word nightriserso what is a nightriser you ask? well let me explian, Unlike other form of necromancy wich forcefully brings the dead under ones control in the form of shambleing gouls and zombies that mindlessly eat any warm fleash they come across nightrisers given to the belive that they are willing people turned into the dead that fear sunlight and rise each night to kill any liveing they find with in the colony and ruins area what makes them diffrentis they retian there mind there not shambeling tools like other plian zombies they dead pick weapons up, fire bows,cast magic, they will plan, they will think to out smart you and they are not afride of death for they simple rise once more so when thinking of a nightriser remmber they can think they can gather in numbers they can set a trap for you the can trick you and there not ashamed to use dirty tricks to win never let your self forget that neevr think your going up aginst a bunch of riased corpses done by some amature necromancer never!.

History with the colony

In times gone past it was siad the colony and ruin area where an out post for an empier of old siad to be some kind of prisoner colony where they where keept away from civil citys and a threat to know one, but archan thinkers brought up many ideas some say the colony was a place of magical exprements and the prisoners where used in all manner of sick and crule tests, others say something has cursed thes lands and tainted with some form of evil and others say the nightrisers are a linch kings atmy that are slowly building up to connquer the lands and pruge it of the liveing ether way the nightrisers have vowed to kill all liveing persons in the colony and ruin areas if they do not leave so there ties are strong to these lands as ours there for we have a strange understanding we battle for our right to live and be free in our home the nightrisers battle perhaps we have invaded there home?.

The militery workings of the nightrisers
In my research of the nightrisers they are a strong militery force to be reckoned with they plan and think like any other mercenry company but they have the time the man power and the fact they do not die on there side.
here is the lists

Normal armed nightriser
The commen foot soldier of the night riser armed lightly with a short sword or club and some times with bow and arrows they are in larger number and prefer to swarm there liveing enemy giveing them no chance to counter or run from the fight be wary dont let them back you up aginst a wall they will only pull you down after a bit.


Nightriser soldier
There heavy troops rarely seen attacking but on patrols and walking with there magic users there skeleton bodys are coverd in light armour that hangs off them there armed with a long sword and large sheild there numbers go between 4-6 and there more planned out with there attacks than the normal foot nightrisers prefering to surround and/or cut enemy forces from there allies slowly cutting them down usaly have nightriser archers with them to pick off any other enemys.


Nightriser linch mage
usaly armed with a wand appering out of thin air these ones i belive are there officers setting up ambushes before any liveing enemy knows whats happeing and haveing soldierrisers and foot ones swarm them while there pushing on the linch archan user uses his necromantic spells to confuses and deal death to his enemys.


the nightrisers may seem to only have a few war classes amoung them but it opens up the most basic battle plans that can kill you such as there
Basic swarm move
foot soldiers backed with archers poison and batter there enemys till there died a simple plan for a nightriser patrol stumbleing apon a fool outside at night


break and storm
something i have seen afew times on there riads on the colony they will first teleport inside at the mian gate beside the sewers once the mian part of the fighting has started they will teleport mage users with footmen on the first level of the ziggarute to break up any spell casters or archers the guard have set up then after a peroide they teleport archers there as well to maximas there kill count.


The unliveing charge
This i have seen only a few times due to the fact teleportion into the gates takes time and much of the colony is alerted due to the fact there portals appear before they do giveing waring out to the colony the liveing charge is when the nightrisers gather in numbers in the sewers then charge up killing all in sight backed with there magic users then once completed its known for a second unit to attack from the temple district to over whelm there forces there.


So when your thinking of nightrisers attacks thats how they form though diffrent riad plans i have heard of there the most commen ones they use remmber a nightriser can think up anything they just dont need to as you need to remmber while you lose one man each night they lose none.
