House Roquefort is the retinue of Lord Matthieu Roqufort, a retired Purple Dragon Knight of Cormyr who's ended up stuck in a horrible place with no idea of chivalry, feudalism or all those things that make Cormyr Better Than Everywhere Else. His lordship wants to change that.

Of course, the trouble is he's kind of broke and his estate's in another country. Bugger. So House Roquefort is offering a chance to get in on the story of an ageing knight errant who sets out to rebuild his fortunes and teach the grubby locals the values of etiquette and chivalry. This being EfU, there are also Sneaky Plans, but you'll have to FOIG on those.

I'm playing the butler for the House, and trying to get courtly manners or etiquette to rub off on adventurers. It's a hilariously impractical task, and I'd welcome anyone who wants to get in on this heavily armed and horrific production of My Fair Lady.

As a Retainer of the House you can expect:
  • Plot from above, as Lord Roquefort decides he needs an Estate/a Champion/That Thing's Head on a Spike/a Pony.
  • Trying to figure out what's going on with the Crown etc Because Monarchy Is Good.
  • A group that's outside of Clan and faction rivalries and wants to prove that it's better to get stuff done and be useful to the town.
  • Being chivalric in people's faces. Honour, manners, respect.
  • Being classy. This place needs more class. Can't get a good cup of tea anywhere. Or cigars.
  • I mentioned potential for sneakiness yeah?

We're looking for anyone from honourable knights to unrefined gamekeepers, to deniable smugglers who can find the Lord the finer things in life. So join. It will be fun. There will be cake (once I figure out Cooking :P).

Aethereal

I see some synergy here with my current character, we just need to find each other in-game.
