Watcher Bunker in-between-ruins

As it stands, the bunker looks more like an office than what it should be. Not to mention the desks in the middle make an already small space incredibly tight. Is there any way the desks could possibly be removed or replaced with a smaller desk off to the side? I'm not asking for the bunker's size to be increased as I understand it's supposed to be small. It's just hard enough to move, and a more economical use of the space would be beneficial.
