Animal companions - our feathered friends

Hi DMs!

So I've been playing a Ranger who is a lover of birds and have recently found out that you can't make falcons a animal companion. :(

I'm not sure if there is a specific reason for this or if I'm missing something but.. it would be great if we could add all the birds to the list of companions that can be tamed :3
