Not even sure if possible but it would be cool if for multiclassing purposes bab was re-adjusted using the following rules:

1/2 bab classes 1 level= 0.5 bab
3/4 bab classes 1 level = 0.75 bab
1/1 bab classes 1 level = 1 bab

Because the first bab in a level flurry is always 0 this would balance it out for more varied classes with lower bab and still make them viable . my example below:

2 rogue = 2x 0.75 = 1.5 bab
2 wizard = 2x 0.5 = 1 bab
2 fighter = 2x 1 = 2 bab
3 Astrologian = 3x 0.5 = 1.5 bab

Total bab with proposed changes at level 9 = 6 bab.

Total bab with current system at level 9 = 5 bab.

So it mostly would allow multiclassing of lower bab classes without penalising them too hard, but not breaking anything.

I think what you're actually looing for is just additive 3/4 (ad 1/2 I guess) BAB class levels. So if you take 3 bard 3 rogue 2 cleric, you would still get 6 BAB.

It's been done elsewhere and I kind of like it myself. Adds in some flavor, notably with the 4 class multis allowed :)

Not exactly. 0.5 being rounded up means level 1 wizard will have 1 bab, and llevel 9 wizard will have 6 bab and 2 attacks.

Basically what VP said is my suggestion, nothing about rounding up BAB.

But so you can take different classes but not be penalised for the first level being 0 bab

I'm all for it. It'd probably stir up the meta a bit but... okay?

Personally I'd rather see it so level 1 of any class that is not full AB, is treated as 1BAB with the 0.5/.75 kicking in after.

This would result in the same progression we have now and somewhat make them additive as the act of multiclassing would not put you behind on getting your 2nd APR.  I think this is easy for them to do in the overrides?

It would be really nice if sorcs and wizards could get a 2nd apr at 8 or 9 though without needing to app for them. Especially with how much monster density has increased on quests!
