Lyrist,

Bellows went out at some point after our conversation. Normally I'm not one to notice patterns, but after our conversation last night, something stuck out:

Quote from: Faith KruehtzerThough I have held the seat for a mere three weeks, there are things I am very proud of having accomplished. Construction of the new district begins; those who build it and those who shall work it in the future shall be ensured fair pay, time to rest, and safeguard for their health and safety.

Other achievements that I am proud of include: progressing our good relations with Tlonsiyya; facilitating the conclusion of the dreaded bottle debacle; and negotiating the appointment of two District Architects.

If you'll recall, these are by and large the same reasons Aurelio provided as proof of Faith's support of the Balladeers. It could be a coincidence, but given his closeness to the Legate, his fervent support of her, his blindness to the criticism flung her way...I think otherwise, personally.

But that's just me. Anyways, not telling you anything you don't already know.

Vaskr,

Indeed! Well spotted.

I had the pleasure of confirming our suspicions during my meeting yestereve with Faith; she spent some time discussing matters with Aurelio ere she opened the door for me. The parallels were rife during that conversation, as well.

Aurelio is going to be an obstructive problem -- but not one we cannot overcome.

Continue doing as you are doing. With tact and cunning and the will of the People, we shall see these legates replaced yet.

Lyrist,

He reported it in-- all of it. Gave them my name. And they came looking for me, which I more or less saw coming.

Legion will come looking for a statement from him, likely-- I pissed them off enough. Still leaves me some wiggle room, and I can wiggle with the best of them.

Just in case my dancing shoes ain't shined enough, though-- you don't stop for nothing, aye?

How predictably disappointing.

I will address the matter before I leave abroad on behalf of the Grandmaster.

We march ever onward unto that prosperous future of our dreams. There is no room for a sluggish pace, yes?
