Hello Ruital,

Some Janissarries (Knud) tried to murder me without sanction from their precious laws. I do not mind this as it is truth of world. I think they will try some other scheme soon though.

Are you an advocate? I do not know laws well and would like to make them squirm to find way to hurt me. Let them become tyrants and reveal their faces to world. Such is will of Kula.

Phaedra,

Forgive the delay as I have been weighing your missive for a time. Our last encounter over property sale lead me to spend over an hour in prison and nearly killed. So I found myself somewhat reticent to leap back into business with you.

Of legal matters: If you wish to retain my services as Advocate I bill 1,000 dinar an hour. As such paid by Vaskr Farsong and others. Because of this majority of individuals await to hire me until such a time as they are in dire need of separating themselves from said dinar.

If it is your intent to raise complaint and process against Soldier Knud, I would ask a sum of 1,500 dinar an hour as he will no doubt I imagine raise considerable noise regarding any applied pressure against him.

When the sum is required we may meet to secure your full testimony over the matter in question of your encounter with Knud, the location, what transpired, and more as witness statement.

After the initial payment of 1,500 dinar I shall spend an hour with you drafting that statement as well as securing further evidence from you and similar. It would be good to have assembled before we have our meeting any witnesses or additional testimony you wish to raise into your drafting of testimony. As well you said "Some Janissaries", did Knud have co-conspirators in his attempt or was this a solo effort? These questions and more we can cover during your hour of consultation.

At the end of the first hour you will have the option if you wish to hire me for further issues or leave it as such. The testimony once drafted you can see sent to any Magistrate of your choosing in hopes of seeing disciplinary action, pressure, or indeed potential trial brought upon the Legion.

Though it is worth noting that majority of the time it is the Legion that raises its own, introducing the matter first by proxy of a Magistrate does make it a bit more difficult for them to bury the matter.
