Dearest Aeronwy,

Though but newly risen from my long slumber, I am feeling a tide of rising strength. Tomorrow with the Mother's mercy I would take my first steps outside of the Priory and attend the White League's meeting.

Would you do me the great courtesy of being my escort to and from the League's hall tomorrow? While I have been introduced to many old and new faces since my recovery, I fear being crowded by too much at once. You have ever born the Heart of Security with attentive grace. Pray be my shield tomorrow.

Dear Sister Zoe,

Our meeting has done much to quell my grieving heart. Sister Jamei has informed me of her concerns about you coming forth tonight. I understand she has also told you about them. I cannot imagine such a step to be an easy one. I do not envy you for having to make it, even though such tidings are glad.

Please be assured that, whatever your decision, I will maintain your confidence and security. If you come forth, I shall be there to safeguard you. We of the College are at your every beck and call.
