What happened to the "information about your shattered homeland" character creation bit?

I wish I had a link.  A few months ago a DM requested writeups on various parts of Faerun so that on character creation you could get a bit of information on how your specific slice of home got wrecked and what it is like now.

I thought that was an EXCELLENT idea because it helps tie PCs a bit to the collective horror we all escaped.  What happened to that project?  Was it scrapped? I was really looking forward to it!

Yeah! I think those short paragraphs should be put into the loading screen so each time we transition we get a tip of whatever is incoming.

Last time I talked to Gippy he told me he had more than 300 entries to read and edit, although. I guess that other people could join him into cleaning the mess? It's a rather scary number of work to be done by yourself and I would also be at the edge of being burnt out of it if I had to go through it all by myself.

The problem is that, without knowing what the DMs would accept or not, we players can't really know which entries would be fine and which wouldn't.
