This faction an offspring of the brotherhood of Ascent, drawing much of its inspiration on the original, pre-revolutionary Seekers intertwined with the mysticism of the Way. The faction itself is organized following the tenets of the Ascended One, who is considered by some be a nascent deity, and by others to be an exemplar to follow. As such, there is no formal leader, and each and everyone has an equal say in the direction to be taken by the faction. (written by Pentaxius)

Well, I'd rather not write a lot as it's probably more fun to learn it all in game. The faction was found by awesome players with awesome PCs. Since then the The Brotherhood of Ascent took part in some of the most major plots in the current chapter (Rebellion anyone?)!

There are many aspects to the faction that are best be learned IG. The ones to shape some of it's goals and ambitions and how to accomplish them are the PCs.

Recommended Alignment: Good aligned / Chaotic leaning to good.

Recommended Race: Any non monstrous race can join, however it's more suitable for humans because of the Ascended One.

Recommended Class: Non Druid. Divine classes might get more fun and new possibilities.

In large it's to break the shackles that bind your PCs and and the shackles of other people. I'd rather not spoil much. A lot can be learned with the Ascended One propaganda in the forums. But finding out stuff IG is still the best I think.
