Attention all roleplayers! Another server with a pretty damn decent batch of scripts and haks is being rebooted.

DISCLAIMER: No, this is not intended to poach community members, it's intended to draw attention to another server where the staff works heavily to make something great and unique. If the server has any hopes of surviving its existance needs to be spread.

Founded quite a long time ago, this server was pulled from the list because of a low population. I also believe she converted her Armistice server to Nevetwinter Nights 2 along with another server called Xenograph Arms 2, but those ultimately were unsuccessful because of the low player count.

Now it's coming back with the original owner at the reigns, scripting her little heard out. This is a low-quality trailer of the server from way back in its golden days.

Currently the server is 'active' from 4PM to 10PM central time, with about 6 players as the top number to date.

She DOES need help. She's the ONLY developer of this server now and in the end it's hurting her and the server! Any developers or content makers that would like to assist please inquire on the Armistice forums about it!

There are some drawbacks. When she reinstalled her Neverwinter Nights 1 quite a bit of her scripts have broken. At the moment she's doing some hardcore bug-searching to do a large bug-smash and she's the only staff member, so if you do join this awesome server or just want to check it out, remember that and work with her! On top of that she's completely redesigning her forums to fit Armistice 1 once again and her old community is all but missing. She's doing her best to make module better.

If you liked what you saw, check out the website they have.

And if you can't find the downloads to save your life, check here.

I simply wanted to share this with you guys because Chastine worked /really/ hard on this server and created a lot of the scripting and content inside of it. On top of that she needs more players, as she's really only got the loyal people that have helped her from the beginning still around. Even if you're simply there to check it out or help with the bug testing, anybody is welcome to poke their heads in any time.

If you have any questions relating to the server please just reply, I will get to it as soon as I am on!

She did typo the server's IP. The IP is 108.88.14.18:5121

the Armistice downloads above need to be put into their respective files in order for you to play.

The CEP core files are also required in order to play the server as well.

Knight Of Pentacles

My, my...

Did you play the original?

nammykun

I wish I had, I heard nothing but stories from its old community. I'm a current player now and I play a Lance Corporal in the Terran Marine Corps as a technician.

I also play a private in the Terran Marine Corps as a Firebat.

For the record, the timeline is during the reign of the Terran Confederacy, before Kerrigan's infestation and presumably in the MIDDLE of Raynor's rise to power. Though this is speculation. She'll likely confirm the timeline AFTER she fixes the major server issues.

Dredi

I did.. oh Garry Johnson.. how did you keep that Rag-tag band of misfits alive..

Knight Of Pentacles

Is it up currently? If so what's the IP?  Can't seem to find one on the forum :/

Dredi

Nammy posted it above.

CollegeDropout

The CEP2 haks aren't in the core download file. Had to download as well. The mdrn2_tlk.tlk seems to need to be put in its own tlk folder as well.

Charnelist

Wow. That does look mighty impressive. I hope the server stays above the water.

nammykun

Alright, the IP is in the first reply. You do need the CEP2 core files, and they aren't in the download list, a quick google search will give you the vault page.

As for that tlk file, I had no need to put that in its own tlk file.

Abandoned-1

That video spelled Marine Corp as Marine Core. This isn't for me.
Currently playing: Quass al Quadra

nammykun

That video was made in 2009. That spelling error isn't in the actual module.

DISCLAIMER: If it is, bug report it and it will be amended.
