The last few runs might have just had horrendous luck, but it appears most of the healing trinkets and other useful items in the deep pool quest have been largely removed in favor of berries, roots, and underwhelming set items.

The experience gain for max 8 quests when at level 8 also seems to have been cut fairly significantly. This is fine for max 7's while at 7 because the step up to the max 8 quests isn't that difficult, but it's largely prohibitive on the max 8 quests because transitioning into stuff like Seers, Orogs, etc. have much steeper requirements, especially considering recent changes that have been made.

You'll need to do quests outside of your comfort zone if you want to level up outside of social RP.

Level 8 quests done at level 8 has never offered worthwhile XP to my knowledge, doing them at level 6 and 7 is preferable.

(and this is coming from a level 7 who just died in a level 8 max quest because the spell and sneak attack damage was too much for our group to handle lol, other 2 companions were knocked into bleeding out before we saved them and I got killed past the bleeding stage entirely)

If you want to level and get equipment, I suggest you go do orogs, and seers and all the other level 9+ max quests, with your level 6-8 friends, you'll actually advance pretty quickly if you can all survive.

Sure this means there's a high risk of dying to the absurdly high NPC damage output when you are outnumbered but that's why strategy and skillsets are just as important, and why the XP is more favourable if you succeed.

It is pretty easy to level up in EfUR. I am not a fan of making it any easier, especially in the level range of 7+.

A level 8 PC should need a challenge to progress and learn.

The experience is fine where it's at.
I wouldn't mind some usable healing loot for the quests mentioned just to replace or substitute the supplies used to complete them.

For the most part I agree with zDark Shadowz, Quality supplies should be reserved for quests that require more than 2 participants, but a chance of regaining the supplies used would be welcome. One or two low level/charge healing trinkets or potions would be welcome if they're not currently in the usual loot rotation. Farming these quests shouldn't lead to a large amount of supplies, but they should give a few items that might substitute or replace supplies used to run them so as not to punish high level PCs for finding an adventure to cement their relationship with lower level companions.
<elmo>: i have to say for me your glory days have been on EFUR RagingPurpleGiant1
